In 2020, artist Nirvani Harriram received an Honorable Mention in the Visual Arts category of the Engage Art Contest. Nirvani was one of 33 Finalists out of 723 entries for the Vishal Arts category. She was awarded a cash prize of $1000 and is featured in the online gallery of the Engage Art platform.
At the time of her submission, Nirvani was working in watercolor medium and used art as a way to explore emotions and encourage healing.
